Abstract |
Poland, 1943. The rich Polish farmer Leon finds the Jewish woman Rosa, who totally exhausted is fleeing from the Nazis and has collapsed on the ground in the middle of the woods. Leon hides Rosa and nurses her back to health. However, this situation of living together which is forced upon the middle-class woman and the simple farmer results in a catastrophe. |
