Abstract

Part 2: Dwight D.Eisenhower (General, Supreme Allied Commander), George S. Patton (General, Commanding General of the 3rd Army), and others visit a German concentration camp. Shows views of Ohrdruf, Hadamar, Buchenwald, and Nordhausen camps, including the dead in shallow graves, the Hadamar camp doctor and executioner, and the bone filled ovens of Buchenwald. Survivors tell their stories. Germans are forced to bury the dead at Nordhausen. Flashbacks show Germans burning books, celebrating, and persecuting Jews.
