Abstract |
Ella is the widow of a British officer during WWII who decides to travel to Berlin to kill Hitler. She travels through France, and then makes her way into Germany as a deaf-mute, obtaining a job as a cleaning lady at the chancellery in Berlin. Ella never gets her chance at the dictator, but she does cause a lot of problems for the German staff. |
