Abstract

Jewish life in Poland from its beginning till the early 1960s. Emphasis is on the period between 1936 to 1960 which is the last chapter of the existence of the Jewish community in Poland. Archival footage includes the German occupation, the ghettos and the Jewish uprisings, mainly in the Warsaw Ghetto.
