Abstract

Views of fences, guard towers, and gates, including sign that reads: "Prisoners' Happy Ending." Jewish, French, and Polish survivors with numbers tattoed on their chests. French survivor guiding soldier through underground crematory. Removing bones and ashes from crematory. Brig. Gen. Milton B. Halsey of the 97th Division inspecting the camp. Digging up bodies of those killed during the evacuation of the camp when they were unable to continue marching (bodies with bayonet and bullet wounds in the head and chest).
