Abstract |
Scenes of Tel Aviv, the Maccabiah Games, the tenth anniversary of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and the Feast of Nebi Musa had been filmed by Nachum Tim Gidal originally in three films (1. "Tel Aviv, A City Built on Sand", 2. "Nebi Musa", 3. "The Maccabiade"), which had been edited at least into one film. The Film had been shown in several cities in Germany before the Palästina-Filmstelle der Zionistischen Vereinigung für Deutschland took it over, reportedly adding footage by other cameramen. Gidal later sold his only print to representatives of the Czech "Blau-Weiss" youth movement. |
