Abstract

After WWII Leo, a refugee of a Nazi concentration camp arrives in America. Suffering from amnesia, he gets a job as a hotel clerk and is then discovered by Broadway showman Adams. He takes Leo on as a partner and the two become a successful burlesque-style song and comedy act. But eventually Leo tires of show biz and finally becomes a cantor.
