Abstract

Fundraiser. The story of DPs Sam Miller and his family who succeed in immigrating to the USA and are finally placed in the arms of their American kin by the HIAS (Hebrew Sheltering and Immigrant Aid Society). Fictionalized treatment. Combines newsreel footage of the liberation of the death camps with staged sequences.
