Die soziale und kulturelle Eingliederung von Einwanderern aus dem Irak, Iran, Marokko und dem Jemen in Israel. Kinderhorte, Heime und Landwirtschaftsschulen der Moatzot Hapoalot (des Working Women's Concil), vorgestellt von den Pionierinnen der Women's Labor Zionist Organization of America. Rachel, eine furchtsame Flüchtlingsfrau, wird zur Pionierin, indem sie ihre Träume in einem modernen Dorf in die Tat umsetzt.
